review

Somewhere In The Universe There Must be Something Better than Man, must be older than one? Surely? Since its launch last year, the club night with the longest name, and considerably larger flyers has hosted some of the biggest electronic bands and DJs. Ed Banger, Moshi Moshi, Modular and Kitsune labels have all shown their best acts in this morroccan themed futuristic hangout!

Ed Banger party starters and Vice magazine residents People Are Germs kicked off tonight's exciting cocktail of guests. Unfortunately they proved a bit like the Martini of DJ's... slightly obvious and leaving the crowd a little shaken and stirred! No matter! We partied hard and we were suitably warmed up and ready for the real Sex on the Beach parizian dancehall wizard Breakbot.

Wizard is probably the best way of describing Breakbot. Flawlessly mixing the best alternative and electronic dance and disco. The atmostphere was emense. Probably the most exciting DJ set ever! Like EVER! Sending ripples of unihibited dance moves through the crowd!

Lastly Kitsune/Klaxon remixer and all round nice guy Nightmoves. If he was a cocktail he'd be the Prairee Oyster, a risk-taking mind-blowing DJ, who took the party to another level. His Innovative, exciting, cutting edge set pretty much sums up Somewhere's music policy. The perfect end to a truly spectacular night!

Happy Birthday!
